The awards will be based on a range of factors, including a student essay, athletic ability, demonstrated leadership and strength of character. Scholarship application deadline is September 8.
The female student athlete must participate in at least one high school sport. Students receiving a “full-ride” athletic scholarship covering tuition, room and board and books may not be eligible because of NCAA regulations.
Applicants must complete an essay of 500 words or less on how being a student-athlete has impacted their lives.
